Off road vehicles for farmers

The 4-seater side by side configuration with a load bin simply adds new depth to the number of tasks it can accomplish.

Press release

Linhai has launched its much-anticipated T-Archon 550L 4-seater Off Road Vehicles promising affordable go-anywhere ability for farmers in all conditions.

The Linhai can carry a substantial load in its easy-to-reach load bin and is suitable for lugging anything from farm implements to feeds, chemicals and even seeds and is well adapted to light utility work wherever the average bakkie is simply not able to reach.

Linhai’s range is known for its rugged and reliable all-terrain and side-by-side vehicles and has eclipsed traditional brands to own more than 45% percent of the Off-Road Vehicle market in South Africa. It has gained an enormous following within the agricultural sector where farmers are seeking affordable Off-Road Vehicles that are offroad capable, able to carry a load and seat two occupants in comfort.

Its affordable price tag and efficient engines and drivetrains have made it by far the most popular choice for farms or wherever offroad go-anywhere is required such as farm security, game ranching and hunting among others. The 4-seater side by side configuration with a load bin simply adds new depth to the number of tasks the beefy 500cc EFI 4X4 machine can accomplish.

With selectable front and rear differential drive modes including high and low range, the lightweight Off-Road Vehicle can transverse just about any terrain and with the ability to lock the rear differential its almost unstoppable. That means when the going gets tough the work doesn’t have to stop.

If the price tag and proven reliability and durability of Linhai’ s machines aren’t enough to convince farmers to make the smart choice, then the brand’s coast-to-coast distribution network that won’t leave riders stranded waiting for spares should be enough to convince them.

The machines are distributed by Smith Power Equipment, which also represents the Premium Polaris Off Road Vehicle and Kubota tractor brands among others. The company’s decades-long experience in the local market has been instrumental in cementing its top spot in the local market for several years now even among fierce opposition from firmly rooted favourites from Japanese and European manufacturers.

“Linhai has grown to become a household name among hard-working offroad riders and the T-Archon 550L is the next logical step for those wanting more. More seats, more space, more power and the ability to carry a substantial load is an appealing proposition that has been out of reach for many smaller-scale farmers due to the hefty price tags commanded by other brands,” says Smith Power Equipment’s Craig Tutton.

Through its dealer network the company already has a hefty order book which has seen many T-Archon 550L’s already sold while the first shipment was still “on the water”. Its economy-friendly pricing, excellent engine performance, versatility and aesthetic appeal make it a great proposition and a tough act for any of its competitors to follow. Throw in alloy rims, electric power steering, tow ball and roof as standard equipment and it becomes unbeatable.
